1. Programme Enrollment

Eligibility

Programmes are open to individuals aged 18 and over. You must meet stated prerequisites for your chosen programme.

Application Process

Applications are reviewed for programme fit. Accepted builders receive onboarding details within 48 hours.

Enrollment Confirmation

Enrollment is confirmed upon payment of the programme fee (€499). You will receive confirmation via email with programme details and start date.

2. Payment Terms

Programme Fee: €499 per programme (non-transferable between programmes)

Payment: Full payment required at enrollment via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.

No Hidden Fees: The €499 fee includes all programme materials, session access, and certification.

3. Refund Policy

Week 1 Money-Back Guarantee: If you're not satisfied after the first week, email hello@slievetech.com for a full refund.

After Week 1: No refunds. You have received access to curriculum materials and live sessions.

Cohort Cancellation by SlieveTech: If we cancel a cohort, you will receive a full refund or can transfer to the next cohort.

4. Programme Delivery

Format: 8 weeks, 16 live sessions, 2 hours each, delivered online via Zoom. Weekend sessions, delivered live online.

Schedule: Sessions held on fixed days/times (communicated at enrollment). Recordings available if you miss a session.

Project Work: You must complete 3 portfolio projects to earn certification. Projects must meet review standards.

WhatsApp Community: You'll be added to a programme-specific WhatsApp group for support and communication.

5. Attendance & Participation

Expectations:

• Attend live sessions when possible
• Complete project work on schedule
• Participate professionally in community
• Submit projects for review by deadlines

Non-Attendance: Missing sessions does not entitle you to a refund. Recordings are provided for missed sessions.

6. Certification

Requirements: To earn a certificate, you must complete all 3 portfolio projects to review standards, submit projects by deadlines, and pass technical assessment (project-based).

Certificate Issuance: Certificates are issued within 2 weeks of programme completion, provided all requirements are met.

Verification: Certificates include QR codes linking to your GitHub evidence for verification.

7. Intellectual Property

SlieveTech Content

All curriculum materials, recordings, and programme content are proprietary to SlieveTech. You may not share, reproduce, or distribute them.

Your Project Work

You retain full ownership and rights to code and projects you create during the programme.

Portfolio Showcase Permission

By enrolling, you grant SlieveTech permission to display project screenshots on our website, reference project descriptions in marketing materials, and showcase GitHub repositories with attribution.

You may request removal of your work from our showcase at any time by emailing hello@slievetech.com.

8. Code of Conduct

Expected Behavior:

• Treat instructors and peers with respect
• Collaborate professionally
• Submit original work (no plagiarism)
• Follow WhatsApp community guidelines

Prohibited Behavior:

• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language
• Sharing course materials publicly
• Cheating or submitting others' work as your own
• Disruptive behavior in sessions

9. Grounds for Removal

We reserve the right to remove participants for violating Code of Conduct, harassment or abusive behavior, plagiarism or academic dishonesty, or non-participation/failure to submit work.

No refund will be provided if you are removed for misconduct.

10. Disclaimers

No Job Guarantee: SlieveTech provides skills training and portfolio development. We do not guarantee job placement, interviews, or specific salary outcomes. Employment depends on individual effort, market conditions, and employer decisions.

Programme Content May Change: We reserve the right to modify programme content, schedule, or instructors as needed to improve quality or adapt to circumstances.

Technical Requirements: You are responsible for having a working computer, reliable internet connection, and necessary software (most tools are free).

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SlieveTech's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the programme (€499).

We are not liable for job placement outcomes, technical issues beyond our control, indirect/incidental/consequential damages, or loss of income/opportunity/business.

12. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Jurisdiction: Any disputes will be resolved through the courts of Ireland, with jurisdiction in County Kildare.

Mediation: Before pursuing legal action, parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith mediation.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of SlieveTech services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
